Beginners Curtain Making Workshop (Lined Curtains)

Learn how to make your own beautiful, professionally finished lined curtains in this friendly, hands-on workshop—perfect for beginners.

You’ll be guided step-by-step through the process of measuring, cutting, and constructing lined curtains, learning essential techniques such as joining fabrics, working with lining, creating neat hems, and achieving a clean, professional finish.

During the workshop, you will create a sample lined curtain, designed to teach you all the key construction methods on a manageable scale. Your sample will include a curtain header, neatly finished edges, and a fully attached lining—giving you a clear reference to take home and use when making full-size curtains.

A kit included fabric is included in price of the workshop, so you can focus on learning and building your confidence. By the end of the session, you’ll have both a finished sample and the knowledge to confidently plan and make curtains for your own home.
