This new dungaree design by Tilly and the Buttons is practical, cosy and comfortable to wear that also looked and feels great. They're also simple to sew, and extremely versatile, with multiple versions including long legs or shorts and wide a variety of fabrics to choose from, including knits as well as wovens.
This is a relaxed fit dungaree/overall. It has tie straps which don’t need undoing in order to take the garment on and off! You can use button holes or loops. There are FIVE pockets for hiding all your stuff. We will be using the overlocker which will create the neatest finish

Soft woven fabrics or low stretch knits, such as French terry, ponte roma, needlecord, linen and blends, chambray, soft twill, viscose (rayon). If you’re using a relatively thick fabric such as needlecord, choose a light-to medium-weight cotton for the bib lining (and pockets if you like) – otherwise you can use your main fabric for the lining too.
We ask that you are prepare for this class by cutting out the paper pattern in your size before arrival, along with your fabric. It's vital that you measure your bust and waist to choose your size as pattern sizing doesn't correspond with shop sizing. The pattern will be posted out to you, or you can either pick your pattern up from our shop. Do not hesitate to contact us if any questions. Materials: The pattern is included but you are required to bring your own fabric, which should be pre washed to avoid shrinkage.
