Friday Social Sewing – Bring Your Own Project 

9.30am to 12.30pm 

Join us for a relaxed social sewing session where you can work on your own projects at your own pace — no tutor, just sewing and good company!

• A friendly space to chat, share ideas, and get tips from fellow sewists

• Perfect for finishing projects, trying new techniques, or simply enjoying some sewing time

• On-street parking in Stapleford is limited. Recommended Broxtowe Council car parks:

  • Halls Road Car Park – 2-minute walk, £1.00 all day Monday–Friday, free on Saturday and Sunday (link)

  • Derby Road Central Car Park –  check ticket for prices - free on Sundays

  • Cliffe Car Park – 10-minute walk, £1.00 all day Monday–Friday, free on Saturday and Sunday

• If arriving by Trent Barton I4 from Nottingham or Derby, the stop is Halls Road.

• Plenty of nearby cafés if you’d like to purchase coffee, tea, or food.
