SEWING WORKSHOP: BRING YOUR OWN SEWING PROJECT - NO TUTOR

This open workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to work on their own sewing project while taking advantage of the studio's space, equipment, and machines—without a tutor. Bring any sewing project you like and enjoy the freedom to create in a supportive and well-equipped environment.

What the studio offers:

• A Janome Digital Sewing Machines.
• An M100 QDC Overlocker.
• A cutting table with a cutting mat, iron, and small ironing board.

Additionally, we have Coverstitch Machines available. If you'd like to use one during the session, please email elaine@sewingbelle.co.uk before the workshop and let us know the thread color you'd prefer.

What can you work on?

• Cut and sew a garment using your own pattern and fabric.
• Get hands-on with a sewing technique you're finding tricky.
• Perform clothing alterations or repairs.
• Customise an item to make it uniquely yours.

What do you need to bring?

• Your own fabric, threads, and pattern (threads and fabrics are available for purchase in the shop).
• PDF sewing patterns can also be printed on-site. email elaine@sewingbelle.co.uk before the workshop approx 24 hours

There is limited on-street parking in Stapleford so we recommend one of the Broxtowe council car parks. the nearest being Halls Road (2 minute walk) https://www.broxtowe.gov.uk/for-you/roads-parking-travel/car-parks/stapleford-car-parks/.

If you are arriving from Nottingham or Derby via the Trent Barton i4 the stop is Halls Road.
