Jersey Techniques & Overlocker Workshop: Sew Your Own T-Shirt all fabrics included

Love your overlocker? Let us help you take it to the next level by mastering jersey fabrics! In this one-day workshop, you'll learn tips and tricks to get the most out of your overlocker while creating a basic T-shirt.

What’s included:
In the morning, you’ll explore a variety of overlocking techniques, including:

• Rolled hem
• Lettuce hem
• Flatlock stitch
• Ladder stitch
• Blind hem

You’ll create a sewing project logbook filled with samples and notes on these techniques to take home.

In the afternoon, put your new skills into action by overlocking a basic T-shirt using fabric of your choice from the Sewing B shop (fabric included in the workshop price).

By the end of the day, you'll leave with your own T-shirt and the confidence to tackle more jersey projects!

The parking is limited on-street parking in Stapleford so we recommend one of the Broxtowe council carparks the nearest being Halls Road (2 minute walk) https://www.broxtowe.gov.uk/for-you/roads-parking-travel/car-parks/stapleford-car-parks/

If you are arriving from Nottingham or Derby via the Trent Barton I4 the stop is Halls Road.
