Black Leather Saddle Bag Class with Lee Mattock Materials included Sun 14th April 10.30am to 1pm
Join us for this intermediate box bag making workshop with the award winning textile artist and leather bag designer Lee Mattocks from Mattocks Handmade in Nottingham. Lee also lectures in fashion design and specialist skills at Nottingham Trent University. You will learn about innovative pattern cutting and how to fold and attach all the leather fittings and fixtures such as buckles, rivets and studs. You don't need any previous experience for this workshop.
The saddle bag had an adjustable strap to fit all shapes and sizes with a silver buckle and slider and can have a drop from the shoulder as long as 65cm with one main compartment.
The overall measurements of the leather saddle bags are 14/ 20cm which makes it perfect to use as a general bag for days out. Water bottles, purses & items such as a small umbrella's will fit into this size saddle bag so it can be used for general purpose as well as a unique design statement to dress up any garment for those days out or travelling.
