How to Prepare
- Choose Your Project: Select a project that you’re excited about and bring all necessary materials and patterns.
- Prepare Your Supplies: We have all the equipment you just need to bring your sewing project. We can print A0 patterns, the shop threads, notions and fabrics.

Q: Can beginners join the workshop?
A: Absolutely! Our workshop is open to all skill levels. Whether you're new to sewing or an experienced stitcher, you'll find support and inspiration.
Q: Do I need to bring my own sewing machine?
A: At Sewing B we are proud to offer the best sewing equipment and sewing machines on the market. Our collection of sewing machines, overlockers M100 QDC Overlocker and overstitch machines features cutting-edge technology designed to enhance your sewing experience and take your craft to new heights. No sharing of sewing machines and overlockers, irons, ironing boards, scissors we have enough for everyone.
Q. Can I purchase threads and fabrics from the shop?
A. Yes, Sewing B offers large selection of Gutterman threads for purchase. This can be a great opportunity because you can often see and feel the threads in person and get recommendations the correct thread for the project from the tutors. Small selection of fabrics, and sewing notions available
Q. Do you do A0 Printing for sewing patterns?
A. Yes. If you're looking for printing of A0 patterns for sewing pattern please email elaine@sewingbelle.co.uk attaching the A0 PDF of the pattern, please do this before the workshop in order for the printing to be ready on the day.
Q. What sewing machines and equipment do you have in the sewing studio
A: the following:
- Janome Digital Sewing Machine.
- M100 QDC Overlocker.
- Coverstitich machines
- Janome 6700 machines
- A adjustable height cutting tables with a cutting board, iron and small ironing board.

There is limited on-street parking in Stapleford so we recommend one of the Broxtowe council car parks. the nearest being Halls Road (2 minute walk) https://www.broxtowe.gov.uk/for-you/roads-parking-travel/car-parks/stapleford-car-parks/.
If you are arriving from Nottingham or Derby via the Trent Barton i4 the stop is Halls Road.
