Learn how to create your own perfectly fitting, comfortable everyday underwear in this fun and beginner-friendly sewing workshop. You'll make a pair of fitted briefs with a choice of stylish finishes and professional techniques that you can use again and again.

The pattern features a flattering fit through the low or middle waist and hips with full coverage at both the front and back. Choose from a low-rise style or a medium or high-rise version with a comfortable control waistband that provides extra support around the abdomen.

You'll also have the option to construct either a fixed gusset with two fully enclosed seams or a floating gusset with a single back seam, allowing you to explore different methods of lingerie construction.

Rise Options

• Low-rise finished with regular elastic, picot elastic, fold-over elastic (FOE), stretch lace trim or a fabric band.
• Medium-rise or high-rise finished with a supportive control waistband.

Leg Finish Options

• Clear or braided elastic
• Picot (scalloped edge) elastic
• Fold-over elastic (FOE)
• Stretch lace trim
• Fabric bands (no additional notions required)

Skills You'll Learn

During the workshop you'll gain confidence working with stretch fabrics while mastering techniques including:

Travel

There is limited on-street parking in Stapleford  so we recommend one of the Broxtowe council carparks the nearest being Halls Road (2 minute walk)   https://www.broxtowe.gov.uk/for-you/roads-parking-travel/car-parks/stapleford-car-parks/  The care park is £1.00 all day Monday to Friday and Free Saturday and Sunday (please double the machine in the car park)

If you are arriving from Nottingham or Derby via the Trent Barton I4 the stop is Halls Road.
