SEW YOUR OWN MEMORY / KEEPSAKE BEAR
 

Time: 10am to 5pm

Transform pieces of clothing into something sweet, something huggable, and something with a smile, a teddy bear

SKILL LEVEL -

FABRIC REQUIRED

You need to bring:
Baby clothes, you will need to bring approx 10 items and if you are using an adult clothes, shirt, for example, one shirt will be enough, or two if you like to mix it up a bit or as many as you like. 
Fat quarters, scraps of fabrics, football shirts, school clothes


Included in the workshop

Bear sewing pattern
Threads, stuffing, interfacing, moveable bear joins, eyes and nose
Digital sewing machines and notions  to use
Tea / Coffee & Biscuit
 

The workshop will start at 10 am. Please arrive ten minutes early to register and a cuppa. Please note our new sewing studio is now ready to use.  The address is as follows:

Travel

There is limited on-street parking in Stapleford  so we recommend one of the Broxtowe council carparks the nearest being Halls Road (2 minute walk)   https://www.broxtowe.gov.uk/for-you/roads-parking-travel/car-parks/stapleford-car-parks/ 

If you are arriving from Nottingham or Derby via the Trent Barton I4 the stop is Halls Road.

Refreshments:

Refreshments of Tea / coffee / biscuits are provided for this course, however you may wish bring a bottle of water with a replaceable lid into the classroom with you. If you would like a hot drink prior to the start of the course there is Gusto Cafe very near to the Sew at 174 building and many independent coffee shops in the town.
