SEWING LEVEL: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate

A mid-sized crossbody tote with front zippered pocket, back slip pocket, zip top closure and reinforced base. This will be your go-to bag for everyday use! The handy short handles make for easy grabbing and the crossbody keeps you hands free! This bag is great for traveling and is perfect for keeping organised. You’ll love this tote!

This is a quick tote designed with a few optional add-ons if you’re feeling up to it. Otherwise, it is beautiful and useful in its simplicity as is.

Firefly Tote Bag

An easy to use tote and project bag! The tote size is perfect for a day trip or a work bag, and the project size is great for knitting or crochet projects, or as a lunch bag! Both sizes feature a fun drawstring closure and an interior slip pocket. A handy front pocket with an additional zippered pocket makes this tote super functional!

^Waxed canvas (8-10 oz.) or dry oilskin may be used for exterior fabric, omit medium-weight interfacing/fusible fleece and reduce fusible woven interfacing to 1 ½ yd [1.4 m] {1 yd [.91 m] for project size}. See notes in cutting instructions.

Travel

There is limited on-street parking in Stapleford  so we recommend one of the Broxtowe council carparks the nearest being Halls Road (2 minute walk)   https://www.broxtowe.gov.uk/for-you/roads-parking-travel/car-parks/stapleford-car-parks/ 

If you are arriving from Nottingham or Derby via the Trent Barton I4 the stop is Halls Road.

Refreshments:

No refreshments will be service at the present time, however you may wish bring a bottle of water with a replaceable lid into the classroom with you. If you would like a hot drink prior to the start or during the course there is Gusto Cafe very near to the Sew at 174 building and many independent coffee shops in the town.
