Sewing with Scraps: Repurpose Your Leftover Fabrics
Turn your fabric leftovers into a stylish, Scandi-inspired wardrobe! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to make the most of scraps using three core techniques: patchwork, strips, and collage.
As part of the workshop, each participant will receive a copy of the book Sewing with Scraps by Swedish designer Birgitta Helmersson and Sam Grose. You’ll choose from 15 fashion-forward garments and accessories in sizes UK 6–30, including a workwear jacket, patchwork tee, quilted coat, tote bag, and more.
The session is suitable for all skill levels and includes guidance on using the provided PDF patterns By the end, you’ll have the skills and inspiration to transform leftover fabrics into clothing and accessories you’ll treasure, all while sewing sustainably.
