Bring Your Own Sewing Project Every Wednesday
Time: 6pm to 9pm
Want to sew in a group with other like- minded individuals, and make some sewing friends? Short on space to sew at home or lacking the motivation to get going? Enjoy coming together with others to learn something new? This open workshop is for anyone wishing to use the space, equipment and machines and work on their own project with tutor to help. You can bring any kind of sewing project that you would like to work on.
The sewing studio has been created with individual sewing bays, each sewing bay has Janome Digital Sewing machine and M100 QDC overlocker (use of coverstitch machine please email: elaine@sewingbelle.co.uk if you will need to use this machine and the colour thread you would like), cutting table with cutting board, iron and small ironing board and all the equipment needed for sewing.
Here are some of the things you may want to do:
- Bring your own pattern and fabric and cut and make a garment.
- Get help with a sewing technique you are struggling with.
- Carry out clothing alterations and repairs.
- Customise an item.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
You will need to bring all the fabrics and sewing patterns / instructions you need to carry out your project. Threads and fabrics are available to purchase in the shop which will be open 5.30pm to 9pm for people on the workshop. Opening times for the shop every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9am to 3pm
